Award-Winning Client
Company: Bereavement Assistance Ltd
Background
Bereavement Assistance is a registered not-for-profit charity organisation that provides dignified quality funeral services at low-cost to the Victorian community who can’t afford a commercial funeral service.
The company also provides charitable means-tested funeral services to disadvantaged families struggling financially.
Challenge
The recently appointed General Manager, originally from the construction industry, struggled to work with his team. This new environment proved to be a challenge. The manager found that although individually the staff delivered their clients an excellent service, however, together they were not an effective team.
This led to frustration, as well as poor engagement amongst the staff.
Solution
The solution was bespoke business coaching, combined with profiling the general manager and the staff.
The first step was to understand the behaviour profiles of the team, and what drives each individual. This was done by undertaking an in-depth behavioural profiling DISC assessment. This was necessary to find out what skills and strengths the staff had so that the general manager could learn how best to communicate with the team.
After being coached by Jaymini, the manager was given the skills, tools and experience to lead the team with confidence. He learned how to communicate effectively and how to delegate. Instead of feeling micro-managed, now his staff are engaged, excited and united. The culture of the organisation has substantially improved.
Results
The organisation has completely turned around and is now thriving. Instead of staff feeling micro-managed they now work solidly together as a team and feel understood.
This has led to a significant improvement in productivity with an increase in the annual revenue by 20%. The general manager now has confidence in his team to attend networking functions, to further grow the organisation.
What’s more, the organisation has been awarded the 2018 Business Excellence Award for Best Community Impact, Australia. Winning this prestigious award will help make the organisation more visible and continue to grow it further.
In summary, the business changed from being fragmented to an award-winning organisation that has a clear vision, a harmonious team and confident leadership.

services, from Property & Construction to Corporate & Commercial Law.
The law firm, which started in 2015, are proud winners of the Best Property Law Firm
in Victoria & APAC Insider Excellence Award, 2017.
Challenge
The company founder wanted to grow the business but didn’t have the knowledge or
experience with Human Resources, Marketing or Business Growth.
Although one sector of the company was expanding well, the founder didn’t want to
grow the business too fast without having the right team, systems and processes.
Solution
The solution was business coaching, combined with DISC profiling of the founder
and her team.
The first step was to understand the behaviour profiles of the leaders and the staff,
which included identifying their strengths, weaknesses and what drives them
individually. This was done by undertaking an in-depth behavioural profiling DISC
assessment.
The next step focused on business coaching. This included identifying the business
goals, vision and values. As well as determining the best business structure to grow
the company.
The final step was having Jaymini involved with the hiring process for new lawyers.
This was critical to find individuals that integrated easily with the rest of the team, as
well as resonated with the goals, vision and values of the company.
Results
After being coached by Jaymini, the founder has the skills, tools and experience to
communicate effectively with the team and lead them with more confidence, so that
she can focus on growing the firm.
The founder and her staff are now more self-aware, focused on the company goals
and integrated as a strong team. The staff work solidly together and know how to
best communicate with each other.
This has led to better time management and improved efficiencies, with one lawyer
doubling their own revenue.
The business now has a clear vision, an integrated team and confident leadership.

Company: MD Health Pilates
Background
A Melbourne-based Clinical Pilates Company provides personalised Pilates Clinical programs by diagnosing each client with their unique client full body assessment.
The company focuses on providing long-term preventative health solutions to their clients with their team of Physiotherapists and accredited Exercise Physiologists.
Challenge
Twelve months ago, the company experienced difficulties with sales, marketing and staff. This resulted in problems in the overall financial situation of the business. The company Director didn’t know where to focus to turn the business around.
The other challenge was the low rate of customer retention. Typically, within the first three weeks of the customer journey over 30% of new customers would leave.
Solution
We provided one-on-one coaching for the Director for 12 months. This involved goal setting sessions, business development planning and assisting with the staff recruitment process.
The first step was to understand the personality profiles of the Director and his team, which was done by undertaking an in-depth behavioural profiling DISC assessment. This was critical in understanding the strengths of each team member, and identifying the gaps within the current team.
The next step was to help the Director develop, execute and deliver a specific business development plan for the company using proven systems and procedures.
Results
The amount of sales increased, as well as a reduction in the sales cycle. Although two long-term senior team members left the company to start a business in direct competition, within only six weeks, the two new staff members were bringing in more sales than the previous long-term members. The faster and smoother sales process was achieved through strategically hiring the right skills for the team.
Also, customer retention has significantly increased. Instead of losing 30% of new customers within the first three weeks, this has reduced to 12%. This made a significant increase in the financial position of the company.
Finally, the Director is now more hands-off and focuses on developing the business. He delegates all the marketing and administration to two team members and gives them full control of the marketing budget.
In summary, the business changed from “survival” mode, to a business that has a clear vision, a harmonious team and achieves measurable results.

Company: Loan Saver Network
Background
A Melbourne-based debt consolidation company has been providing specialised pre-solvency services for Mum and Dad businesses, as well as small to medium-sized businesses, since 2007.
The company focuses on providing people with customised debt solutions to ensure they keep their homes without needing to foreclose their business.
Challenge
Two years ago, the company Director found he was working intensely in the business, rather than on the business, with little return.
This resulted in long hours, low turnover, and a non-systemised business. The company Director didn’t know where to start to take control of the business to turn it around.
Solution
We provided one-on-one coaching for the Director for two years. The first step was to understand the personality profile of the Director and his referral partners, which was done by undertaking an in-depth behavioural profiling DISC assessment.
The information from this was critical in understanding what was stopping the Director from moving the business forward, as well as knowing the right personality traits for ideal referral partners that could help grow the business.
The next step was to help the Director develop, execute and deliver specific business growth strategies.
Results
By knowing which personality traits are compatible with others, the Director has discovered which referral partnerships were not working and made solid relationships with new referral partners.
Also, the Director was able to use the information from the Profiling Assessments to identify which marketing strategies would work best – and to understand why the ones he was using didn’t work.
The result was that the turnover doubled, from $160,000 to $320,000. In addition, the profit increased so that the Director was able to hire a Personal Assistance.
The Director now has more leisure time. He went from working 13 hours per day, five days a week – to only six hours a day, three and a half days a week, by delegating to his Personal Assistant.
Right now the company is looking forward to further growth by hiring another Personal Assistant and six Brokers.
In summary, the business changed from being uncontrolled to a business that is systemised, has a clear vision, achieves measurable results and provides the Director with the leisure time he wants.

Industry: Health Industry
Background
A Melbourne-based health care service company provides home and workplace pathology and paramedical visits for life insurance assessments.
The company also provides health care management, medical evaluations, health assessments and flu immunisation to their corporate clients.
Challenge
The company structure includes in-house staff and external contractors. Individually the staff and contractors were good; together they were non-cohesive. They were not a team.
This lead to frustration for the management team, as well as poor motivation amongst the group.
The manager, as a partner in the business, knew the company needed external help, however, the other challenge was convincing the other partner to trust in coaching and profiling staff.
Solution
We provided one-on-one coaching for her for the past 12 months, combined with profiling the staff.
The first step was to understand the personality profiles of the management team and the staff. This was done by undertaking an in-depth behavioural profiling DISC assessment. This was necessary to find out what skills and strengths were needed in the staff and helped her to hire the right people easily.
The next step was to coach the manager to change her mindset, strategies and leadership approach. Previously she never wanted to “rock the boat” with her staff. However, she felt like she was dealing with a lot of staff drama and personalities.
After being coached by Jaymini, she was given the skills, tools and experience to lead her team with confidence. Instead of feeling unappreciated, now her staff are comfortable to approach management because they know action will follow.
Results
The company has completely turned around. Instead of staff feeling unappreciated they are now working solidly together as a team and excited to take on more work. This has led to a significant increase in productivity.
Personally, the manager has overcome some childhood issues, despite having previously made little or no progress to gain self-confidence with the aid of counselling. After working with Jaymini, she was able to shift these issues permanently to gain confidence and is now driving the company as a confident leader.
In summary, the business changed from being fragmented to a business that has a clear vision, a harmonious team and confident leadership.
